Join us for the Lord's Day at Graham
Visit us on Sundays to worship and follow Christ as Lord through His Word.

Come Worship the King with Us
Sundays are the heart of what we do as a church. It's the day we dedicate to rest in remembrance of Christ's saving work for us on the Cross. It's also a day of refreshment and rejuvenation as we gather to encourage and strengthen each other.
We want to invite you to join us. No matter where you are in life, no matter your hurt, struggles, or regrets, God offers grace through His Son Jesus Christ, and so do we. Come and see what Christ is doing in western Washington through His people. Come and see what God has to say to you in His Word. Come and see how we are just ordinary people gathering to serve and praise an extraordinary God.
What to Expect on Sundays

Expositional Preaching
The Bible teaches that “all Scripture is God-breathed and useful for teaching” (2 Tim. 3:16). Graham Emmanuel Baptist Church fulfills this by expositional preaching on Sunday mornings.
Expositional preaching is the verse-by-verse teaching of entire books of the Bible that exposes the original intent of the biblical authors by examining the grammar and history of the passage in its original context. Pastor Stephen Angliss does this through the years of seminary training in Greek and Hebrew he gained at Moody Bible Institute and the Master’s Seminary.

God-Centered Worship
God calls His people to worship Him (Ps. 150; Eph. 3:21). Specifically, God intends worship to happen collectively amongst Christians who gather to pray and sing together (1 Cor. 14:26; Col. 3:16).
At Graham Emmanuel Baptist Church, we fulfill God’s call to worship through a time of singing that embraces a balance between modern contemporary choruses with timeless hymns. The worship service also leads the congregation in times of prayer, Scripture reading, and the monthly taking of Communion.

Spiritual Community
We believe that God is worshipped not only through the singing of the congregation, but also through the encouragement, fellowship, and friendship that happens throughout the morning. Sundays are a chance to meet new people, visit old friends, and be encouraged by authentic Gospel-relationships with other brothers and sisters in Christ.
A Place for Your Family
Infant & Toddler Nursery
Our church offers separate staffed nursery spaces during both services for infants and toddlers. Infants (0-walking) can be taken to Room 302 in a safe, age-appropriate space. Walking toddlers may be taken to the nursery in the foyer, where they can play and interact with other children and nursery workers just steps away from the worship center (walking-3). All students must first be checked in at the staffed check-in station in the foyer. We'll help you safely get your babies where they need to go!

Preschool & Kindergarten
During both services in room 305, preschool and kindergarten students aged 3-6 (potty trained) get to learn about God and His Word with trained, background checked adults who love working with kids. To check-in your preschooler or kindergarten to find out where their class is, go to the check-in counter in the foyer.

Children's Church & Sunday School
We encourage parents to worship with their children during worship service. However, as an alternative, or for parents staying for an additional service, we offer elementary discipleship programs during both services. During 1st service, we offer a combined children's church for grades 1st-5th in Room 406. During 2nd service we offer individual Sunday School classes according to grade. All classes and Children's Church focus on teaching God's Word and musical worship. To check-in your student and find out where they belong, go to the check-in desk in the foyer.

Youth Sunday School
As soon-to-be adults, we highly recommend that teens worship and serve with their families during worship sevrice. Youth Sunday school during 2nd service is meant to be an additional time of teaching, discussion, and fellowship for teens.

Frequently Asked Questions
The church has ample parking in the front and back of the church. Since access is only available through the front doors of the foyer, we recommend parking in the large lot in front of the church for easy access. Handicap spots are available near the doors, and a large overflow gravel lot is available in the front as well.
As soon as you enter the foyer, the back wall has a sign in blue block letters that says CHILDREN'S CHECK-IN. Go here to check-in your kids at the tablet kiosks. A volunteer will be stationed there at all times to assist you!
Of course! We have a coffee station in the foyer next to the doors into the worship center with complimentary coffee, tea, cider, and hot chocolate. Come and enjoy!
Our worship service features congregational singing led by our Worship Pastor Josh and a team of talented singers and musicians on the guitar, bass, drums, and keyboard. We typically sing three or four songs in a morning, featuring strong hymns from church history, and modern praise songs from groups like the Gettys, City Alight, and Sovreign Grace.
The worship service is 75 minutes long, and begins with brief announcements and then a call to worship, in which Pastor Josh reads us Scripture, prays for the morning, introduces our first song, and calls us to prepare our hearts to worship. After the second song we have a time of prayer and offering—newcomers are not expected to give. After a third song, we take a moment to greet each other before Pastor Stephen leads us in an expositional study of God's Word for 45 minutes, followed by a closing worship song and a benediction from Pastor Josh.
You'll find an array of attire on a Sunday morning, from shorts and a t-shirt to a suit and tie. Most people wear clothes that align with the casual or business casual model, but come wearing whatever appropriate outfit you prefer.
