Give

Giving is a worshipful response to God's goodness and provision in our lives.
We give not because we have to, but because we want to; it is a privilege! There are many ways to give back to the LORD. Here are some of the ways:
TIME – There are only 24 hours in each day. How is God leading you to use your time? If you’re looking for ways to give more of your time in serving the LORD, contact the church office and we will help you to see where you can start giving your time.
TALENTS – We believe God has gifted you in a unique and special way and because of that everyone is great at something! If you’re part of Graham Emmanuel Baptist Church, we believe God has specifically given you abilities and talents to serve Him in a special place here in the local church. Therefore, we encourage you to contact the church office to find out how you can find a place to use the talents that the LORD has given you.
TREASURE – God also gives us tangible resources that we are to manage and steward. Let us never forget that God truly owns 100% of everything. It all belongs to Him! Therefore we should show our gratitude by giving back to Him and His work at Graham Emmanuel Baptist Church.

Frequently Asked Questions
We are proud to be a debt-free church. All of our property and assets are completely paid for, meaning that all of the money given as worship to the Lord is used towards keeping the lights on, paying our pastors and staff, supporting overseas missionaries, supporting the local women's pregnancy center, benevolence, and funding the many ministries that take place at our church like VBS, Awana, youth group, and many many other programs!
Absolutely. Nobody, including the pastors and elders, sees who gives what other than the church treasurer and bookkeeper. Your financial offerings are between you and the Lord.
A "tithe" refers to 1/10th of someone's possessions, and comes from the Old Testament, where God commanded His people to give 10% (tithe) of their possessions as an offering. In the age of the New Testament, a tithe is no longer required, and Christians are compelled to give abundantly and cheerfully--perhaps even more than 10%! Today, we use the word "tithe" just as an another word for "offering" and 10% is simply used as a guideline, not a minimum or maximum requirement.
No! In fact, if you're new to our church, we encourage you not to feel compelled to give, and to focus first on getting to know us and getting involved. The Bible does command Christians to give, but only with a cheerful heart. Do not see financial offerings as an obligation, but as a joyful act of worship!
