that I might not sin against You."

About

What is Awana?

Awana is an evening children’s program, during the school year on Wednesdays from 6:30pm-8:15pm, designed to teach kids the Word of God. Over the course of the school year, kids aged Pre-k to 5th grade work through a workbook that has them memorize verses and other Bible-based challenges for prizes. The program also features high-energy games, crafts, and a lesson time.

The total cost for Awana is only $30 per family, regardless of family size and including all needed materials. Awana is divided into three age groups, all under the same Awana structure in an age-appropriate group.

Cubbies: Pre-K and Kindergarten

Sparks: 1st and 2nd Grades

Maniacal Games

Awana is fun! Each night begins with an opening ceremony with singing and prayer, and all students have a time in the night where they break into teams and play maniacal indoor games!

Special Events

Spring Grand Prix

In one of the highlights of the year, students get a pinewood derby car that they can carve, design, and decorate and then race at the Grand Prix!

Don't have the tools or space for a woodworking project? No fear! Our church offers free family workdays where equipment and volunteers are available to help students and parents make their car raceday ready!

The Grand Prix day itself is open to the whole family, and offers free lunch and snacks, bouncy houses, toddler play areas, and all around family fun.

Awards Ceremony

Awana is full of fun challenges, as students work weekly through their workbooks to complete their objectives, earning jewels and badges along the way.

Each Awana year ends with an awards ceremony, where families and friends of the students are invited to look back on the Awana program that year, and to celebrate the accomplishments of the Awana students who will receive awards for their efforts. Followed by an ice cream social!
