Meredith Ayling -- Associate Pastor

I can look back now and see how God used circumstances and people to draw me to him. When I was 12 years old my Sunday school teacher led me to the Lord. I told him that I had been hearing the Pastor say "If you have never invited Jesus into your heart you can do that now", and that I wanted to know what that meant. He told me that to invite Jesus in my heart was to admit that I was a sinner and to ask Jesus to come in and change me. It wasn't until a few years later that I really understood what God had done in my life. When I was in High School I didn't make a conscious effort to disobey God, it just came naturally. In 1982 at the age of 18 I rededicated my life to the Lord and prayed that he would help me stay connected to him. Since then God has been so faithful and I praise him everyday for the life he has given me.
